(Intro for beginners, refresher for pros)
Cost: $200 for new students, or bring a friend and get in for $180 each.
When: 10am to 4pm, 1st Saturday every month.

NEXT AVAILABLE CLASS with spots still available: Saturday 3rd March, 2012 10.00am – 4.00pm - SOLD OUT

If you want to play serious print – this is it. This intro/refresher class will teach you the entire process of print: from buying the right screen, exposing your own graphic onto it, selecting and printing ink and finally setting it, ready for wear or sale.

In this 6 hour, (including break) technical class, you’ll get to print up to 5 shirts or posters of your choice. The class cost includes your choice of 1 shirt or tea towel from Arcade stock and your choice of coloured inks from the vast Arcade library.

Bring paper or other materials to experiment with if you like.  This is a big day of print, technical knowledge, Q&A and most of all, fun!

If you’ve ever wondered how to get your own high-quality photos, sketches or vector graphics onto a shirt or poster, this is the introduction class for you.

We supply inks, screens, film positives, emulsions and machines.
Attendees should bring their artwork as a pdf, eps on disc or USB or a hard copy painted/drawn onto acetate or tracing paper.
Artwork should be at 100% size that you want to print.
All students will receive a free T-shirt or Tea Towel to print on. Additional items can be purchased such as bags, hoodies or addition T-shirts. Students can bring in items on their own to print on.
Students can print 5 – 10 pieces in their print in the same ink colour time permitting.
Students keep their film and their prints.

**** Students can bring their own clean screen or purchase one at the beginning of the class if they wish to take home the screen with their image exposed onto it during class – therefore you can keep printing.
